The new AMD Crimson 16.10.2 drivers support a new Fury card: AMD7300.5.
Code | Card |
AMD7300.1 = "AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series" | Radeon R9 Fury X |
AMD7300.2 = "Radeon (TM) Pro Duo" | Radeon Pro Duo |
AMD7300.3 = "AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series" | Radeon R9 Fury |
AMD7300.4 = "AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series" | Radeon R9 Fury Nano |
AMD7300.5 = "AMD Radeon (TM) R9 Fury Series" | ? |
This means that a new card is on track, and we hope it will be not based on a Fiji GPU. Probably it will be based on a Vega GPU. So we can suppose that AMD will use the Fury brand for its next high end video cards.
Stay tuned for more news. ;)
