A photo, posted at Overclock3D, has confirmed our previus leaks: the next AMD AM4 socket will have 1331 pins, and it will be uOPGA.
This means that AMD will utilize the LGA socket only with the Enterprise sockets, just like it did with G34 and C32 sockets. It’s not a bad news, because it’s easier to damage the pins on LGA sockets than the pins on PGA CPU. Also, the PGA pins are a lot easier to repair.
